We are still learning.

Kahu Pōpoki is built around relationship, kuleana, mālama, and the understanding that no one person sees everything.

That means feedback matters.  When someone takes the time to share a concern, correct something we may have misunderstood, offer a different perspective, or suggest a better way forward, that is part of the learning too.

Humility asks us to remember that knowledge is never complete. We may bring research, lived experience, and years of work with cats, but other people carry ʻike shaped by their own families, communities, professions, places, and experiences.

Good feedback helps us see what we may have missed.

We may not always agree, but we can listen carefully, consider what has been shared, and respond with respect.  That is part of how we hope to practice aloha through the work of Kahu Pōpoki.

If you see something that could be clearer, more accurate, more useful, more respectful, or more accessible, we would like to hear from you.
